Before installing the Agent for Oracle, verify that the following applications are installed and working properly:
Note: For information about the appropriate version of Linux and the appropriate version of Oracle Server for your environment, see the Readme.
Before you start installing the agent, you must have administrator privileges with root access to install software on the machines on which you plan to install the agent.
Note: Contact your Arcserve Backup administrator to obtain the proper privileges if you do not have them.
