Symptom
Arcserve Backup is unable to detect the library.
Solution
There are several corrective actions that you can use to determine why Arcserve Backup cannot detect the library.
You can quickly check to see if your computer can detect the SCSI device by using the following steps.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\SCSI\SCSI PORT #\SCSI Bus #\Target Id #\Logical Unit Id #
Use the following steps if you are having difficulty with any of the solutions described previously.
After performing these corrective actions, run the Device Configuration utility and reconfigure the library.
