View Information about Libraries

When you highlight a library, you can see two types of information: Summary and Details.

To view either type of information for a library, perform the following procedure:

1. Highlight the library you want information about.
2. Select the Summary or Details tab from the Properties menu.
   • Summary information

     Selecting the Summary tab displays general information about the library, such as its vendor, product name, firmware version, and SCSI compliance.

   • Detailed information

     Selecting the Details tab displays detailed information about the library, such as the number of drives, slots, and magazines it contains, as well as the library status, barcode compatibility and media cleaning.
