Symptom
RMAN script back up with multiple channels fails.
Solution
While performing multi-channel backup, the data at the receiving end maybe blocked by other channels for a long time causing the connection timeout between the agent and Arcserve Backup server, resulting in error E8522.
To avoid this error, you must increase the timeout value (by default it is 20 minutes). To know more about how to set the timeout value, double-click on error E8522 from the activity log to get more information.
