Cleaning Media Not Returned to the Home Slot

Symptom

The cleaning media is not returned immediately to its home slot after cleaning a library drive.

Solution

To remedy this problem, consider the following:

The cleaning media may be completely used. If the cleaning media is ejected from the library drive after a few seconds, you should check whether the cleaning media is completely used.
If the library drive does not support reporting of media cleaning, the cleaning media is returned to its home slot after approximately two minutes. If the library drive supports the reporting of media cleaning, the cleaning media is returned to its home slot immediately after cleaning.
