If Arcserve Backup detects a problem with a tape drive, there are three mechanisms that Arcserve Backup uses to cure tape drive errors. Each are discussed in the following sections.
These mechanisms run automatically upon error detection. After Arcserve Backup cures the error, the backup job continues.
