Uninstall the Option

The Tape Library Option is a primary server and stand-alone server-based installation. You must use the Server Admin to uninstall primary server and stand-alone server-based agents and options.

Note: The Tape Library Option does not appear in the Windows, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs application.

To uninstall the option

  1. Log in to the primary server or stand-alone server.

    From the Quick Start menu in the Navigation Bar on the home page, click Server Admin

    The Server Admin opens.

  2. From the domain directory tree, right-click the primary server or stand-alone server and select Install/Uninstall Options from the pop-up menu.

    The Install/Uninstall Options dialog opens.

  3. Clear the check box next to Tape Library Option and click OK.

    Arcserve Backup uninstalls the option.
