Impostazioni per la registrazione circolare

La registrazione circolare consente di personalizzare le caratteristiche dei file di registro generati dal Modulo nastro.

To specify Circular Logging settings

  1. From the Arcserve Backup Home Page, click the Quick Start menu and select Server Admin.

    The Arcserve Backup Server Admin dialog opens.

  2. Scegliere Configurazione dal menu Admin.

    Verrà visualizzata la finestra di dialogo Configurazione.

  3. Fare clic sulla scheda Modulo nastro.
  4. To enable Circular logging, click the Limit Log Size By option in the Limit Log Size section of this dialog, and then specify then maximum size in MB. Questo valore rappresenta la dimensione massima per tutti i file di registro.
  5. In the Log File Count field, select the number of log files that you want Arcserve Backup to retain. This amount represents the maximum number of TAPE.LOG files that Arcserve Backup will retain.
  6. Fare clic su OK per applicare le impostazioni.

    Nota: After the log file count exceeds the number specified using the Log File Count option, Arcserve Backup deletes the oldest log files.

Sfoltimento dei file di registro

Per specificare solo l'eliminazione dei file di registro:

  1. Disattivare l'opzione Limit Log Size By.
  2. Click the Prune Logs Older Than option and specify the number of days that you want to elapse before Arcserve Backup prunes log files.
  3. (Facoltativo) Nel campo Single Log File Size, inserire un valore in KB per specificare il limite alle dimensioni di un file di registro. If you do not specify a value in the Single Log File Size field, Arcserve Backup uses the default value, 10000 KB, as the size limitation for each single log file.
  4. Fare clic su OK per applicare le impostazioni.

Importante. If you enable both Limit Log Size options (Limit Log Size By and Prune Logs Older Than), Arcserve Backup prunes log files if either the total number of log files exceeds the Log File Count, or the date of the log files exceeds the number of days specified under the Prune Log Files Older Than option. You cannot specify a Single Log File Size—Arcserve Backup uses the formula Total Log Size divided by Log File Count to calculate the Log File Size setting.
