リクエスタは、以下のタスクを行うソフトウェア（通常はバックアップアプリケーション）です。

Initiating the request for a VSS backup
Processing the backup instructions from the Writers, including which files are selected for backup and the methods that should be used to back up those files
シャドウコピーデータのメディアへのバックアップ
シャドウコピーデータのディスクからの削除によるバックアップの完了の通知

Arcserve Backup は、VSS バックアップのリクエスタとして機能するように設計されています。
