Arcserve UDP Data Store Capacity Planning Tool contains three tabs, namely, Scan Nodes, Create Report, and View Reports.

Deduplication Tool Tabs

Using the three tabs you can perform the data deduplication capacity planning in the following three steps:

  1. Scan Nodes: Add Nodes/Volumes and scan them to collect Node Scan Data.
  2. Create Report: Generate reports for selected nodes and volumes.
  3. View Reports: View generated reports, estimate hardware requirements, view scanned volume charts and view scanned volume details.
