Prerequisites to Create an Instant Virtual Machine on Nutanix AHV

Important! IVM is supported only on Linux for Nutanix AHV.

Verify that you have completed the following prerequisite tasks:

• At least one Recovery Point Server available on local machine, as the backup destination.
• At least one Recovery Point Server available on target destination, as the replication destination.
• At least one Linux backup server available locally, for the backup job.

After completing the prerequisites, open an Instant Virtual machine wizard.
