Restore an Oracle Server
If the Oracle server is corrupted, you can restore the entire server by performing a BMR.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the Linux Backup Server Console as a root user.
- Perform a BMR using the Restore Wizard. For more information on the restore process, see How to Perform a Bare Metal Recovery (BMR) for Linux Machines.
- After the BMR job is complete, log in to the target machine and verify that the database is restored.
The Oracle server is successfully recovered.
