Disable the BOOTPD and TFTPD Services

You can disable the BOOTPD and TFTPD services if you do not require the PXE BMR function.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Backup Server as a root user.
  2. Open the server.env file. 
    /opt/Arcserve/d2dserver/configfiles/server.env
  3. Update the following parameter in the server.env file and save the file: 
    export D2D_DISABLE_PXE_SERVICE=yes
  4. Restart the Backup Server. 
    /opt/Arcserve/d2dserver/bin/d2dserver restart

The BOOTPD and TFTPD services are successfully disabled.
