Support Upgrade on the Arcserve UDP Appliance

The Arcserve UDP Version 6.0 GA build supports upgrade on the UDP Appliance with the following limitations:

You are required to complete the appliance settings using the Appliance Configuration wizard before the upgrade.
Note: The required system setting completes as long as you successfully log in to the configuration wizard. After logging in, you can continue or cancel the wizard and then perform the UDP upgrade.
If you are going to use the Arcserve UDP Appliance to function as the UDP RPS of an existing UDP v6 console (for example, Console-1), then perform the following steps to add the UDP Appliance as an RPS:
1. Click Cancel from step 1 of the Appliance Configuration wizard which opens the UDP console on the UDP Appliance.
2. From the Appliance, run the UDP v6 installation to upgrade the UDP Appliance to v6.
3. Open Console-1 in a browser and add the Appliance as a RPS.
