Known Issues Resolved

The sections describes the known issues of Arcserve UDP v6 resolved in Update 1. Below, you can see the details of original issues.

When you modify and save an Arcserve UDP plan that includes the copy to tape task during active copy to tape jobs, the Jobs Monitor for the active copy to tape jobs on Arcserve UDP would disappear. You can verify the copy to tape progress in Arcserve Backup manager or refer to the job history in the Arcserve UDP Console when the job is complete.
Cannot perform DB level restore for Exchange 2007 from the recovery point which is backed by agentless backup of Arcserve UDP v5 Update 3
Symptom

Backup a VM with Exchange 2007 installed by agentless backup of Arcserve UDP v5 Update 3, upgrade Arcserve UDP to v6, and then try to restore file by Browse Recovery Points. On that restore dialog box, Exchange 2007 writer can only be expanded to storage group level, so that you cannot select a database to perform database level restore.

Solution

This is caused by a known issue of UDP v5 Update 3. The solution is to back up the same VM by Arcserve UDP v6 again.
