License Your Product During Installation

You can license your product during installation or after you have decided to purchase the product. If you have installed a product without a license, you can license the product without reinstalling.

Note: You need your license key to complete the license process. The license key has 25-characters and accompanies the product CD. Typically, this key is found on the back of the CD sleeve.

Follow these steps:

1. Select a component in the Component List of the License Verification dialog.

   Available options for registering your product become active.

2. Select one of the following options:
   • Use Trial Version

     Specifies the product has no license and is a trial version. Trial versions allow the product to run for 31 days before requiring a license.

   • Use License Key

     Specifies the product you are installing has a license key.

     If you select Use Trial Version, click Continue. If you select Use License Key, enter the 25-character license key and click Add.

     The component is licensed or noted as a trial version.

3. Select the next component to license and repeat Step 2 until each component is licensed or noted as a trial version.
4. Click Continue after all components are defined as a licensed product or a trial version.

   The installation process continues.
