Installation Process

Make sure you have performed the required pre-installation tasks. When you have completed these tasks and gathered all of the required information, you are ready to start the installation process.

The highlights of the installation procedure include:

• Install the option.
• Configure the library during installation.
• Use the Quick Inventory option of the Arcserve Backup Device Manager and take an inventory of the device.
