Configure Windows Security Setting Option
To make sure a Windows user with a blank password will not fail to log on to Arcserve Backup, you must configure a Windows Security Setting Option.
To configure windows security setting option
- From the Start menu select Control Panel.
The Control Panel opens.
- Select Administrative Tools.
The Administrative Tools dialog opens.
- Select Local Security Policy.
The Local Security Policy dialog opens.
- Double-click the Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only option.
- Select Disable and click OK.
The Windows Security Setting Option is configured to accept blank passwords.
