If an error condition occurs, Arcserve Backup makes a second attempt to complete the job. If the error persists, Arcserve Backup stops the backup job. The tape drive then relays the information about the error condition to Arcserve Backup. You can view the details about the error condition in the Activity Log.
After determining the cause of the error condition and curing the problem, you must restart the job.
