Change a User Password Using the User Profile Utility

The User Profile Utility lets you change Arcserve Backup user passwords.

To change a user password using the User Profile Utility

  1. Open the Arcserve Backup Manager Console.

    From the Quick Start Menu select Administration and click User Profile.

    The User Profile utility opens.

  2. Select the user that you want to modify and click Properties on the toolbar.

    The User Properties dialog opens.

  3. Click the General tab.

    Complete the following fields:

    Click OK.

    The user password is changed.
