Service State Icons
The toolbar at the top of each Arcserve Backup manager displays an icon for each of the back-end services--Job Engine, Tape Engine, and Database Engine, as shown by the following illustration:

Depending upon the color, the icons indicate one of the following states:
- Green--Indicates that the service is running.
- Red--Indicates that the service is not running.
- Gray--Indicates that the service cannot be connected to or is in an unknown state.
- Blue--Indicates that the service is paused.
