The <aof> follows the standard installation procedure for the system components, agents, and options of Arcserve Backup.
For more information about this procedure, see the Implementation Guide.
You must install the Windows Engine on each Windows computer that has files to be backed up. Install the Backup <aof> Console on a server or workstation on the network from which you will manage the backup and restoring of files.
Restart your computer after the installation is complete.
Note: Arcserve Backup Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service is automatically installed when you install the <aof>.
