Data Volume Preview

The Minimum Free Space Value specifies the minimum amount of free space that must exist on the selected computer’s preview data volume for the agent to function.

The following option is available in the Preview Data Volume section of the General tab:

Minimum Free Space

The agent requires a certain amount of free space in which to create temporary preview file data (the data that is accumulated for open files when applications make changes while the backup client is active).

• If there is insufficient free space, the agent prevents the backup client from opening any new files, and fails any ongoing client operations.
• When sufficient free space becomes available, the agent automatically resumes its activities.
