Some application programs have the ability to cache file writes on the workstation on which they are run. Therefore, a backup program on the server is not guaranteed to see an up-to-date view of the file. This can lead to data integrity problems. This problem is not created by the agent, but may arise as a result of using the agent, since you can now, for the first time, back up such files while they are in use.
The best solution is to configure the application, if possible, to prevent write caching.
Example: prevent write caching
