Set Up a Microsoft SQL User Account (Windows Servers)

You can specify or change the password for your Microsoft SQL accounts for the users who are allowed access to your Microsoft SQL servers.

To add or change a Microsoft SQL account, perform the following procedure:

1. In the Arcserve Backup Server Admin, click on the Admin menu and select Microsoft SQL User Account.
2. In the Arcserve Backup Microsoft SQL User Account dialog box, you must provide valid credentials for logging on to a remote machine.
