How the Sybase Adaptive Server Security Works

When you browse a server, Arcserve Backup begins communicating with the agent. The Security dialog opens, prompting you for security information.

To ensure that you get access to the files you want, log on either as a system administrator or with a user account that has similar privileges as the system administrator.

Note: You must have system administrator privileges to browse, back up, or restore databases or transaction logs.
