How the Agent Restores Dropped Databases
A dropped database is a database that has been removed from the Sybase database and is no longer accessible. Restore jobs fail when you try to restore a dropped database. To overcome this behavior, complete the following remedial steps:
- Create a database on the destination using the name of the database that was deleted (dropped).
- Allocate an amount of disk space on the destination that is greater than the amount of disk space that the Sybase database consumed before it was backed up.
- Submit the restore.
