一般注意事项：
- CA ARCserve RHA for SQL 和 CA ARCserve RHA for File Servers 中包括对 BlackBerry (BES) 的高可用性支持。
- 如果主服务器或副本服务器还用作 Windows 域控制器 (DC)、DNS 服务器或 SBS (Windows Small Business Server) 服务器，则 CA ARCserve High Availability 在这种环境中不受支持。 您必须使用 CA ARCserve Replication。

关于 Replication 的注意事项：
- SBS (Windows Small Business Server) 环境不支持 Replication for Exchange 用于故障切换/故障恢复，但是完全支持用于数据恢复的复制。
- Replication for Exchange 2007 不再需要或支持 ws_ex2e.exe 工具用于故障切换/故障恢复。 现在可以使用 Microsoft Exchange Management Shell（Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 的新界面，基于 Microsoft Windows PowerShell 构建）手动执行故障切换和切回。 Exchange 2003 仍支持 ws_ex2ex.exe 工具。 注意，对于日文环境，只有当非 Unicode（单字节）字符用作 Exchange 服务器的参数时才支持该实用工具。

安装注意事项
重要说明！ 请注意，CA ARCserve RHA 下载映像超过在标准光盘 (CD) 上提供的可用磁盘空间量。 要下载映像复制到介质，您必须使用 DVD 或闪存。
考虑以下情况：
- 确保将您的屏幕分辨率设置为 1024 x 768 或更高。 分辨率较低的话，会导致屏幕显示不正常。
- 在日语环境下，“启动应用程序”对话框可能显示为英语。 为避免产生此问题，请确保已应用 .NET Framework 日语包。
- 必需的 .NET 2.0 Framework 通过 CA ARCserve RHA Control Service 安装过程进行安装。 但是，如果尝试从其他 Windows 计算机（其上未安装 .NET 2.0 Framework）连接 Control Service，将显示通知屏幕，屏幕中提供了链接列表，通过链接可以下载并安装缺少的组件。 将提供两组链接：
- 至 Control Service 服务器的链接
- 至 Microsoft 网站的链接
从相应的链接组中，为服务器选择要用于连接至 Control Service（32 位或 64 位）的链接。
- 在 Windows Server 2003 R2 和 Windows Server 2008 R2 系统上执行远程安装时，安装仅限于安装了 CA ARCserve RHA Control Service 的远程主机。
- 要避免防火墙问题，应通过本地运行 setup.exe 的方式来安装或升级 Windows Server 2008 或 Vista 的主服务器和副本服务器中的 CA ARCserve RHA Engine，然后在创建方案时禁用“验证主机上的 CA ARCserve RHA Engine”选项。 如果必须在这些计算机上远程安装 CA ARCserve RHA Engine，需要启用通过 Windows Server 2008 防火墙的 WMI 通信，然后在所有的主服务器和副本服务器上配置端口 25000。 此外，如果要创建 Hyper-V 方案，还应该在所有的主服务器、副本服务器和 Hyper-V 来宾服务器上启用 ICMP echo 消息，这样，CA ARCserve RHA 可以成功 ping 通来宾操作系统。

在远程安装 CA ARCserve RHA Engine 之前，请启用通过防火墙的 WMI 通信：
- 从“控制面板”中打开“安全设置”，然后单击“Windows 防火墙”。
此时将打开“Windows 防火墙设置”对话框。
- 单击“更改设置”，然后再单击“例外”选项卡。
此时将显示程序和端口列表。
- 选择“Windows 管理规范”(WMI) 以启用通过防火墙的 WMI 通信。
- 单击“确定”以退出防火墙设置。
- 按常规安装 Engine。
- 安装 Engine 之后，使用带有高级安全性的 Windows 防火墙 MMC 管理单元的“新 Inbound 规则向导”配置每个主服务器和副本服务器上的端口 25000。
确保已选择 TCP，并已将端口 25000 添加至特定的本地端口列表。 允许连接，并将其应用于可应用的配置文件（例如，私有文件）。
注意：默认端口为 25000。 可以更改该端口。 有关完成向导的详细信息，请参阅 Microsoft 网站。
- （对于 Hyper-V 方案）也应该启用所有主服务器、副本服务器和 Hyper-V 来宾服务器上的 ICMP echo 消息，从而 CA ARCserve RHA 可以成功地对 Hyper-V 来宾操作系统进行 ping 命令处理。
使用“新 Inbound 规则向导”可以创建自定义规则，该规则可为任一 IP 地址启用特定的 ICMP Echo 请求，并允许进行连接。

- 不支持将 CA ARCserve RHA Control Service 与基于 ACL 的身份验证一同安装在域控制器上。
- 在“网络访问: 本地帐户的共享和安全模式”模式被设置为“仅来宾”的 Windows XP 系统上不支持安装 CA ARCserve RHA Control Service。
- 从以前版本升级到该版本时，“使用现有安装的服务登录帐户”选项不可用。 这是因为产品名称已更改。
Solaris 11
- 以下步骤适用于将 CA ARCserve RHA Engine 安装到 Solaris 11 Sparc 或 Solaris 11 x86 非全局区域中。 确保您已将 CA ARCserve RHA 安装在全局区域以及非全局区域中。
- 在非全局区域中安装 pkgadd 命令：
