This document describes how to implement Arcserve RHA solutions for BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Please review each procedure before you begin. It is essential that you have the appropriate resources and permissions to carry out the tasks that apply to your particular configuration.
This guide covers BES All in One and Front End (distributed) Configurations using Arcserve RHA for Applications and Arcserve RHA File Server scenarios enhanced by the provided BlackBerry HA script. Standard SQL HA scenarios (for protecting Back-End Configurations) are not covered in this Guide. This Guide also does not cover e-mail server high availability. High availability for those servers is covered under their own scenarios and documented in separate Operation Guides.
