Create Distributed Groups

You can create distributed groups from available regular groups using Central Scenario Management.

To create a distributed group using the Scenario Creation Wizard

1. Open the Scenario Creation Wizard.
2. Specify a new group name in the scenario creation wizard when creating scenarios for SharePoint farm.

   A new distributed group is created.

To convert a regular group to a distributed group

1. Create a Regular Group.
2. Select the Regular group on the Manager and right-click to select the Enable Central Management Option.

   The regular group is converted to Distributed Group.

Note: You can easily convert a Distributed Group to Regular Group by disabling the Scenario Group Management option.
