Review the Prerequisites and Considerations
Verify if you have completed the following prerequisites:
- Log in to the Console.
- Install the server component and create Data Stores if you want to store the backup data to recovery point servers.
- You have a valid recovery point to create a virtual standby machine. The recovery points can be from one of the following tasks:
- Backup, Agent-based Windows
- Backup, Host-Based Agentless
- Replicate
- Replicate from a remote Recovery Point Server
Note: If you import nodes from Arcserve High Availability, you can create a directly virtual standby task without creating any other task. For more information on creating virtual standby task from Arcserve High Availability nodes, see How to Create a Virtual Standby Plan for Arcserve High Availability Nodes.
- Review the Compatibility Matrix which provides the supported operating systems, databases, and browsers.
