You can use the Enterprise Tape Library 3494 command line interface to manage the Enterprise Tape Library 3494. Use the mtlib program to query device and operational status, take an inventory of tape volumes, eject tape media, and verify connectivity between the Enterprise Tape Library 3494 and the IBM Library Manager control service on the CA ARCserve Backup server.
