SAN Server Connection to Tape Drive Configuration

The tape drives on the StorageTek ACSLS library can be connected to a SAN, which in turn is connected to several CA ARCserve Backup servers, as shown in the following illustration:

Note: In configurations where more than one tape drive is connected to a CA ARCserve Backup server, both tape drives must use media of the same type.
