Remove Cleaning Slots Based on Slot Number

Arcserve Backup lets you remove cleaning slots based on the slot number.

To remove cleaning slots based on slot number

Open the Device Manager and browse to the library that you want to configure.
Right-click the library and select Library Properties from the pop-up menu.
The Library Properties dialog opens.
Select the Cleaning tab.
The cleaning options display.
Select the Clean By Slot option.
From the Available slots list, select the slot that you want to remove.

Click the Remove button to exclude the slot from use as a cleaning slot.

The available slot is removed from the Cleaning Slots list.
Repeat the previous step to configure more cleaning slots.
Click OK.
The cleaning slots are removed based on their slot numbers.
