Estimated Hardware Requirements

This option contains multiple fields related to node data, recovery points, data change per recovery point, deduplication block size, compression type and backup type. You can provide/edit the intended values and select multiple options form the drop-down list. Then click Calculate Estimated Hardware Requirements to view the estimated storage and memory requirements to protect the selected nodes and volumes.

For Deduplication Block Size, the block size values 4 KB/8 KB/16 KB/32 KB/64 KB provides you an intuitive comparison to understand the difference of required disk/memory space for different deduplication block sizes.
