How to Manually Install Network File System on a Windows Server
You can manually install Network File System (NFS) on a Windows Server using the Server Manager.
Follow these steps:
- Open the Server Manager and click Manage, Add Roles and Features Wizard.
The Add Roles and Features Wizard opens.
- Click Server Roles and select File and Storage Services.
- Expand File and iSCSI Services.
- Select File Server and Server for NFS.
- Click Add Features to include the selected NFS features.
- Click Install to install the NFS components on the server.
You have manually installed Network File System on the Windows Server.
