Documentation Changes
This documentation includes user feedback, enhancements, corrections, and other minor changes to help improve the usability and understanding of the product or the documentation itself.
The following documentation updates have been made since the GA release of this documentation:
Update 7
- Added Merge Job Options. This topic contains two new options: Pause Merge Job and Resume Merge Job on the Node screen. These topics describe how to pause or resume a merge job for a specific node.
- Updated Specify Protection Settings. This topic contains information about the Retention Setting options. With retention policies you specify number of recovery points to retain or the number of recovery sets to retain.
- Updated Specify Email Alerts. This topic contains updates to the backup alerts for Merge jobs. You can now receive an alert for merge jobs that stopped, skipped, failed, or crashed. In addition, a new option is added to alert you for successful merge jobs.
Update 6
- Updated Configure Discovery Schedules. This topic now includes an Active Directory list for you to view when setting up a schedule to discover nodes.
- Updated Configure Email and Alert Settings. Renamed the title and updated this topic to include alerts on discovered nodes.
- Updated Update Nodes. The topic describes how you can update multiple nodes simultaneously using the existing credentials or specifying new credentials. You can also force the server to manage the selected nodes.
- Updated Add Node Groups. This topic replaces the "Unassigned" node group with "Nodes without a policy" and replaces the "Ungrouped" node group with "Nodes without a group".
- Updated Deploy CA ARCserve D2D to Nodes. Updated this topic to include the latest CA ARCserve D2D version when you deploy to a node and supporting lower versions of CA ARCserve D2D. Also included a new button named Select/Unselect All when selecting nodes.
- Updated Specify File Copy Destinations. Updated this topic to include Fujitsu Cloud (Windows Azure) as another vendor type for cloud configuration.
- In this update release, you can now view the status of a policy deployment in the Policy column.
